What is an API?

API is the acronym for Application Programming Interface, which is a  method for software applications to talk to each other.

The EWG LightSpeed API provides clients with a suite of secure API RESTful services to manage your beneficiaries, payments and conversions in real-time. This allows you to directly embed our API seamlessly into your business processes and without the need for staff to switch systems and learn how to use them. Securely linking systems will ensure you maximise business efficiencies and speed up processing.

The EWG Lightspeed API implements the best industry security standards using OAuth 2.0 and mTLS.

The EWG APP provides a secure, user friendly and intuitive payment, transaction and account management platform that enables you to be in full control of how you work and who can access your real-time data.

This website contains the brochureware for our products. Full API documentation and integration guidelines is provided via our private developer docs website which you will receive access to following onboarding. You can also visit our main website at  https://www.ewggroup.com/

Once you have been onboarded as a user of the EWG Lightspeed API we will issue you with security credentials to use our test environment. We can also provide you with a Postman collection to quickly access the API services. The test environment uses test data so any tests you make will not affect any live data.
